I don't know where to begin to detail the amazing experience I have had at Pivot Technology School. The founders and their staff have been amazing, supportive, and consistent. I believe they have found a gem in the data analytics instructor Raygene Patterson. She has for sure been a phenomenal instructor and guide to cohort 12, and we all can't express enough how much we appreciate her guidance and wisdom.

Josh (one of the co-founders) is one of the most positive and encouraging people I've ever had the opportunity to meet. His excitement and passion for the work that is being done at Pivot Technology School can literally be felt through the screen. I can most definitely say that I have been nothing but supported by the entire team.

Pivot does not stop with providing technical knowledge, I was also matched with a mentor whom I am excited about working with. In addition to that, they also provide aftercare services to assist with the journey beyond the classroom. While the work was hard, and sometimes the weeks seemed long, the experience that I have gained has been invaluable. I appreciate Josh, the team, and all of their involved community partners that have now become a part of my personal career journey, and I can't wait to see what opportunities arise from here.

In my experience, Pivot was a waste of time. The primary attraction was that it was free, but even with that advantage, the program did not justify the time commitment. Spending 9 hours a week on Pivot, in addition to working full-time, felt like a waste and took away from time I could have spent with my children or improving my life in other ways.

Pivot actively promoted the bootcamp to me, but the quality of its curriculum and course content did not compare favorably to school, college, or even trade school. The program fell short compared to other bootcamps and educational programs I’ve tried, such as Codecademy, FreeCodeCamp, TripleTen, CodeWithMosh, and AppBrewery. Even the free resources offered by these programs, such as simple YouTube videos, proved more valuable than what Pivot provided.

Pivot provided no ongoing support or check-ins throughout the program. Career materials were minimal and consisted of generic advice easily found online, such as tips for tech resumes. The program lacked proper resources and a centralized database for learning materials, with the learning experience varying significantly depending on the instructor.

Seven months after graduation, my cohort's employment rate was 0%. When people raised questions about these issues on Facebook and LinkedIn, Pivot often ignored or deleted the comments. Unlike companies like TripleTen, Pivot doesn’t showcase their alumni and students, which is telling. I encourage you to search for success stories, but they may be difficult to find.

Working for Pivot is not any better, if not significantly worse. They are a tech school that does not leverage technology to enhance the program. These points are worth verifying and fact-checking.

While this sounds promising, other bootcamps offer guarantees, promises, and regularly showcase student success with clear statistics. Where are any of these elements from Pivot? I taught cohort 11, and with three programs, there should be at least 33 classes with consistent results to show.

Just graduated from cohort 12 in Data Analytics. Pivot Tech instructors are so knowledgeable and I learned so so much. I would definitely recommend taking this course if you are interested in data analytics. It was amazing.

I went through the cybersecurity program and was relieved at how smooth everything went. Very understanding staff and the instructors helped me get through our projects.i highly Recommend if you want to jump into the tech industry.

My partner went through this program an I have been here supporting him through this process and I unfortunately would NOT recommend. I have helped him pay for this program an I feel like we have gotten scammed. I attended the graduation and it was sorrowful for the money that was paid it should have been in person!!! And put together way better very under Whelming. Then on zoom all the graduates could not be seen on screen which was very disrespectful. This program needs a lot of revisions.

Went to pivot tech and got my certificate. It was a smooth process and I had help during the bumps I went through. They Helped me with my resume and gave me a scholarship.
