If you are going through security at Sanford Orlando airport, please make sure to add an unnecessary extra 15-20 minutes to your preflight planning to get through security. Especially if there are more than TWO people in line.

This is the worst excuse for a substitute TSA team I've ever seen. They're unprofessional, illogical, inconsiderate, disorganized, pathetic, delusional, confusing, overstaffed, undertrained, and create WAY more problems and delays than they avoid and resolve at the checkpoint. None of them were on the same page and I watched 3 of them tell a guy 3 different directions to go at the same time. I watched a guy tell several people to take things out of bags that did not need to come out of bags. The same guy wanted to interview each person about what was in their bag before walking through. This may be because they had nobody checking bags after they got scanned. Not one person's bag was checked after being scanned but several people were being unnecessarily patted down. The people who checked tickets and IDs were handling their jobs as expected, and everyone else at the Sanford airport was great, including gate agents, ticketing, stores, restaurants, cleaning staff, rental car staff, baggage handlers, everybody was cool. NOT trinity technology group. I bet anybody reviewing them would give zero stars if it was possible.

Dear Ms. Melo:

In regards to the rejection of my claim for damage to my luggage by the TSA screening equipment, your letter brings up a number of issues.

I did NOTHING to create the damage caused on the brand new piece of luggage that I put on the conveyor belt and sent into the machine. When It was taking a long time to come through, I looked back at the machine, and someone else's sharp-edged bin had caught the edge of the machine and it was blocking everything from progressing through the machine. In that backup, my daughter's brand new luggage was badly damaged. The wheel doesn't work properly and the pictures submitted show the damage to the end and sides.

First and foremost, the claim that I didn't file the claim in a timely manner is inaccurate. I summoned a TSA Manager on December 26, 2022, prior to getting on the plane. She took several minutes out of my sight, took pictures of my luggage, and returned to me with a very generic business card and told me that SHE had submitted the claim. She said that if I had questions, I should go on the site listed on the card, and that someone from there would contact me.

When no one did, I went to the site and filed my own claim.

At no point did that representative tell me that
1.) I needed to file my own claim.
2.). I had 30 days to file the claim or it would be denied.

This denial is completely unacceptable. I have shown you what I paid for it. I expect that within 30 days. I am not going away until i receive compensation for this. I will contact whomever I need to to get this completed. This really isn't worth it to fight this claim.

Not sure who these people are. Never heard of anything like this before. Pretty sure they "screened" us because my wife's last name is middle eastern. Oh and also I had souvenir on our bag for my dad. A millennium falcon trinket. And it was broken when I got it back. Thanks alot whoever you people are and screener id 1563.

The most unprofessional group of people I've ever seen in my life. Most of them are talking on cell phones, talking on watches, etc. Just pathetic for a security organization. I've even seen a few of them sleeping in open areas.

I feel I was checked through their area properly. I did get patted down, but it only took 10 seconds, not even. I think it was alright .
